Rosa Thorpe

As VP of Shine Fortify Services, Rosa works closely with Shine Early Learning partners. She originally joined the company in 2007, serving first as the Director of Monmouth County, then as the Executive Director of Monmouth/Middlesex County, and ultimately as Director of Quality Assurance, where she was responsible for the assessment and evaluation of Acelero Learning’s delegate programs. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she also continues to strengthen her clinical skills by working as a psychiatric social worker at a local hospital, where she conducts crisis intervention and assessments for emergency room patients. Prior to joining Acelero Learning, Rosa was worked for Babyland Family Services in Newark, NJ, where she was responsible for the oversight of their child care and preschool programs in addition to their social service programs including domestic violence shelter and prevention initiatives, foster care operations, pediatric AIDS, and home visitation interventions serving young children and first-time mothers. Rosa hold’s a bachelor's degree in psychology from Montclair State University and a master's degree in social work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
