John Elwood

John Elwood is the current Senior Vice President of Operations at Acelity. Prior to this, they served as the SVP of Global Operations for Kinetic Concepts Inc from October 2017 to May 2020. From September 2007 to October 2017, they were the VP of Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain for Kinetic Concepts. From June 2004 to September 2007, they served as General Manager for Celestica. From March 2001 to September 2002, they were Maintenance Manager for Hewlett Packard. From September 2002 to May 2004, they were Engineering Manager for HP. From August 1995 to March 2001, they were Senior Member of Technical Staff for HP. From July 1994 to August 1995, they were Manufacturing Engineer for Bose Corporation.

John Elwood has a Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Limerick. John also has a Bachelor's Degree in Operations and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Limerick.

John Elwood reports to Andy Eckert, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Vikram Bajaj - Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, Rohit Kashyap - President, Global Commercial, and Cindy M. Beaulieu - Senior Vice President, Business Transformation.
