Hany Abd El Aal

Hany Abd El Aal is an experienced financial professional currently serving as Group Financial Director at ACICO Group since July 2023, while also holding the position of Senior Financial Controller at United Real Estate Company (URC) since July 2016. At URC, Hany led a financial growth initiative that increased revenue from US$ 90 million in 2016 to US$ 260 million in 2020, with net profits rising from US$ 5 million to US$ 20 million during the same period. Prior to URC, Hany worked at Kharafi National from January 2004 to December 2016, advancing to Corporate Financial Controller and developing financial strategies with a focus on internal controls and compliance. Hany holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Cairo University and a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University.
