Max Rudolph has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Max started their career in 1983 at Mutual of Omaha, where they served as the VP of Financial Risk Management. During their time at Mutual of Omaha, they focused on actuarial science, projections, financial reporting, pandemics, asset and liability management (ALM), and enterprise risk management (ERM). Max developed working relationships within the company to improve ALM and ERM practices and shared best practices with the industry.
In 2006, Max founded Rudolph Financial Consulting, LLC, where they served as the Principal and Founder. Max'swork primarily focused on risk management, providing institutional peer reviews, education, and research-based projects. Max also acted as an adjunct professor at Creighton University's Heider College of Business, facilitating courses on applied portfolio management and developing an introductory ERM course for their program.
In 2016, Max took on multiple roles simultaneously. Max became a Senior Advisor at Hanover Stone Partners, LLC, where they provided expertise in ERM and was part of a team that conducted ERM training for US state insurance regulators. Max received The Editor's Choice Award in 2017 for a series of articles they co-authored. Max also joined Risk Assessment Partners as a Principal, offering their expertise in ERM, investment, and actuarial consulting.
Most recently, in 2021, Max joined Actuarial Risk Management as a Senior ERM Consulting Actuary. This role allows him to utilize their extensive experience in enterprise risk management.

Max Rudolph attended Michigan Technological University from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Engineering Administration. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) in April 1994, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) in January 1988, and earned the Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) designation from the Society of Actuaries. Max also obtained the CFA certification from the CFA Institute in September 1998.
