Anshuman Rai

Anshuman Rai is currently the Director, Corporate VP, Sales (India & South Asia) & Head of Global Sales Operations at Actyv. Anshuman was previously at Commvault from June 2021 to September 2022 as the Area Vice President. During their time there, they led a team of Sales, Presales, Channel, Marketing resources amongst others in a matrix structure, with ownership of revenue from Software as well as SAAS portfolio by leveraging all growth engines. Anshuman was able to turn around the lagging business and deployed a tailor-made strategy that ensured forecast accuracy and consistent YoY growth for all quarters. India was declared as the fastest growing region in the APJ for the year FY22. Some of their key accomplishments include re-organizing the sales and channel team to bring the necessary focus on market, setting up the SAAS business in India from a scratch, working very closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure build a high-performing team in a short time with resources across Sales, Pre-sales, and channels, aligning marketing initiatives with the field team to ensure a healthy and sustained funnel in place, and leading the SAAS business from the front and building a strong foundation with right alliances including Microsoft.

Anshuman Rai has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecom from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Anshuman has also completed high school from Campion School Bhopal. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in topics such as executive leadership, web APIs, mentoring others, sales closing strategies, sales objections, and analyzing sales competitors.
