Erik Wickman

Erik Wickman is the Managing Director at Acuris. Erik has over 25 years of sales experience in the financial technology and information industries.

Erik began their career in 1997 as an Account Executive at Tangent Computer. Erik then spent three years as Sales Director at Seybold Seminars, before moving to Forrester as an Account Director. In 2002, Erik became Sales Director at Money.Net, where they stayed for three years before joining Acuris in 2005.

At Acuris, Erik held various positions including Director of Strategic Accounts and Sales Director of Technology and Content Licensing. In 2019, Acuris was acquired by ION, and Erik took on the role of Sales Director for ION Analytics. Erik left ION in March of 2022 to return to Acuris as Managing Director.

Erik has a proven track record in sales and business development, and is passionate about helping clients grow their businesses. Erik has a deep understanding of the financial industry and is always up-to-date on the latest trends. Erik is a strategic thinker who knows how to identify opportunities and turn them into long-term success stories.

Erik Wickman completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst before going on to earn an MBA in Finance and Strategy from NYU Stern School of Business.

Their manager is Hamilton Matthews, CEO. They are on a team with Angus Mcintosh - Managing Director, EMEA, Justin M. Smith - Managing Director, Xtract Research, and Marc Katz - Managing Director, Americas.
