Wai Yan Wong

Wai Yan Wong has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Semiconductor Design Engineer at Teradyne, where they led a team in developing an offline simulator that saved time and cost in the development process. In 2005, they then became an Engineering Manager at Testian Inc. From 2007 to 2008, Wai Yan Wong was a Student Fellowship at Flywheel Ventures. Wai Yan then joined Oracle in 2008 as a Principal Product Manager, where they were responsible for market analysis, product roadmap, go-to-market strategies, and more. In 2015, they co-founded DataWinla, a startup providing a platform for building big data applications. From 2016 to 2018, Wai Yan Wong worked at Quad Analytix (now Wiser Solutions, Inc.) as a Principal Product Manager, focusing on AI-driven price optimization and analytics in the eCommerce pricing product line. Their most recent role is at Workday Adaptive Planning, where they are currently a Principal Product Manager.

Wai Yan Wong has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, Wai Yan Wong has pursued further education at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they have received an MBA degree.
