Doron Paz

Doron Paz is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering at Adtran, Doron previously held key roles at Extreme Networks as Manager of Systems Engineering and Sr. Systems Engineer, contributing to SLED and Enterprise solutions. As Vice President of Global R&D at DZS, Doron oversaw a 350+ member team across multiple countries, managed a budget exceeding $40M, and facilitated strategic planning for R&D integration. Prior experience includes roles as CTO & VP Engineering at System73, where significant advancements in OTT video distribution were achieved, and VP Engineering at Zhone Technologies, focusing on embedded software and networking products. Doron’s career began at Nortel Networks as a Software Development Manager after earning a degree in Engineering, Electronic Information Systems from the University of Regina.
