Tom Baker has over 20 years of experience in operational leadership, operational excellence, process development, process improvement, and team building. Tom is currently the VP Operations Solutions at Advatix.

Tom Baker executed the operations which enabled the successful hyper-growth for multiple micro and nano-fulfillment start-ups including GoPuff, Fabric, Spreetail, and Black Rifle Coffee. Tom led a team of 28 operational leaders in GoPuff’s Operational Excellence, and Food and Operations Safety improvements for 108 markets, successfully preparing them for $1B in Series H round funding. Tom also launched Fabric’s new micro-fulfillment centers in Long Island City, NY and Coppell, TX.

In addition to their work with start-ups, Tom owns and manages a P&L sheet worth ~$2M for the Operations Consulting business unit. Tom also led the team that optimized Black Rifle Coffee’s supply chain, and “build vs. buy” FC decisions.

Tom Baker has a Masters in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, a Bachelors in Marketing from Ithaca College, and is certified as a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Instructor and Master Exercise Practitioner from the National Emergency Training Center, Emergency Management Institute. Tom also has a Six Sigma Black Belt Masters Certificate from Villanova University.

They work with Mike Indresano - Chief Logistics Officer, John Cordova - Chief Human Resource Officer, and Nina Sodhi - CFO. Tom Baker reports to Manish Kapoor, Founder and CEO.
