Mark Thienel

Mark Thienel is the current CEO of Advent Health Partners. Prior to this, they served as Regional Vice President of Product Development at OptumInsight from June 2009 to December 2012. In this role, they were responsible forOptumInsight's products and services, which are designed to help make the health system work better for everyone.

Before joining OptumInsight, Mark Thienel was the Regional Vice President at AIM Healthcare from January 1999 to December 2009. In this role, they oversaw AIM Healthcare Services' claims cost management services for government and commercial payers of healthcare benefits in the United States. These services included data mining, coordination of benefits, contract compliance benefits, overpayment resolution, credit balance resolution, reconciliation services, subrogation services, medical bill review, express claim, and prepayment services.

Mark Thienel has dedicated their career to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare system. Mark's experience in both the public and private sector has given him a unique perspective on how to best serve the needs of patients and providers alike. Under their leadership, Advent Health Partners is committed to making a positive impact on the health of our communities.

Mark Thienel attended West Virginia University, where they earned a BSBA.
