Robert Coop

Robert Coop is the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at Advent Health Partners. Robert has over 25 years of experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Prior to joining Advent Health Partners, they were the General Manager of Machine Learning at phData, Inc. and the Customer Data Scientist, Customer Success at H2O.ai. Robert has also served as the Senior Manager, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. where they established the first formal Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team within the enterprise. Robert Coop has a proven track record in delivering results and is a hands-on leader who is able to work with senior executives to establish an artificial intelligence strategy that meets the overall technology road-map for the enterprise.

Robert Coop received their PhD in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Machine Learning from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to that, they earned their MS in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Intelligent Control also from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Robert completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a BS in Computer Science.
