Lindsey Prescher

Lindsey Prescher is a highly experienced cardiovascular surgeon currently serving as a Staff Cardiovascular Surgeon at Adventist HealthCare since September 2021. In addition to this role, Lindsey holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences since January 2014. Previously, Lindsey worked at Yale New Haven Hospital as a Staff Cardiac Surgeon from January 2020 to September 2024 and served as the Service Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center from July 2019 to September 2024. Relevant training includes a Structural Heart Disease Advanced Fellowship and Cardiothoracic Fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital between May 2016 and June 2019, a General Surgeon role in the US Navy from August 2015 to June 2016, and a General Surgery Residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego from July 2009 to August 2015. Lindsey's academic background includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of St. Thomas.
