Franz Clementschitsch

Franz Clementschitsch is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Site General Manager and Managing Director at Aenova Group since June 2020, overseeing CDMO operations across Steriles, Liquids, and Solids technology platforms. Prior to this role, Franz held the position of Senior Director Operations at Teva Pharmaceuticals, leading a significant CAPEX project for the construction of a mammalian cell culture plant. Earlier experience includes serving as Site Head for Novartis, where responsibility encompassed production of drug substances for various customers, as well as a Director of Manufacturing at Baxalta, managing formulation and filling processes for plasma-derived products. Franz's career also included roles at Baxter Healthcare, culminating in responsibilities for drug substance production and project leadership in vaccine development. Franz holds a Doktorat in Biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, completed in 2005.
