Ammar Hassan

Ammar Hassan is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Aerospike since November 2025, with prior experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer at Shell Energy Australia from October 2021 to June 2025, where significant cost savings were achieved through optimizing cloud resource allocation. Ammar also served as a Senior Software Developer at Target Australia for a brief period in 2021, and worked as a Technical Consultant at Hagrid Solutions Pty Ltd from 2017 to April 2021, gaining expertise in developing enterprise applications. Ammar began the professional journey as a Peer Mentor at RMIT University in early 2017, supporting students in learning Java and database concepts. Ammar holds a Master of Information Technology in Computer Science from RMIT University and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology.
