Allan Steinhardt

Allan Steinhardt is the current Chief Scientist at AEye. Allan was previously with Booz Allen Hamilton from January 2014 to May 2017, where they served as Chief Scientist and was the Technical Lead for the Science Functional Community. Allan is also a frequent participant in study groups and workshops on Science in Defense, and is a subject matter expert for various projects in DARPA and other Defense clients.

Allan Steinhardt joined Booz Allen Hamilton in 2004 and was promoted to Vice President in 2010. Allan has continued to focus on prototyping and repurposing, and is a frequent contributor to technical approach on proposals, and on market shaping, teaming agreements, etc.

From 1996 to 2004, they served as Chief Scientist for Signal Processing at DARPA. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor of Electrical Eng and Applied Mathematics at Cornell University from 1987 to 1993.

Allan Steinhardt holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a B.A. in Math from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Their manager is Blair LaCorte, CEO. Allan Steinhardt works with Jordan Greene - Co-Founder & VP, Strategy & Partnerships, Luis Dussan - Co-Founder & CTO, and Andrew Hughes - General Counsel.
