Watkins was made SVP in January 2020. She is responsible for driving and leading all aspects of brand strategy, advertising, media, experiential marketing, creative services and event production. 

Watkins joined [Aflac](/org/aflac) in April 2018 as vice president, Brand and Creative Services, and within her first year landed [Aflac](/org/aflac)'s fully integrated campaign that added the Southeastern Conference and the SEC Network to the company's national media focus. 

With more than 20 years of advertising experience and expertise, Watkins is a recognized brand leader and has received a number of prestigious industry awards including a Clio and a Cannes Bronze Lion. In their role as Board of Director for [CxO Analytics](/org/cxo-analytics), they were responsible for the HPE Global Infrastructure and Operations (ITIO) organization – a role which they used to maintain HPE's position as a leading provider of IT infrastructure, software, services, and solutions. 

More recently, Richard has been working with Adapt Ideations as a member of their board of advisors. In this role, they were responsible for the separation of IT systems between IBM and [Lenovo](/org/lenovo) as part of the transition from IBM Personal Computing Division to the [Lenovo](/org/lenovo) Corporation. This involved managing all aspects of data and application segmentation between the two companies.

Steven K. Beaver is the SVP, CFO of [Aflac](/org/aflac) U.S. Steven has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. 

Steven started their career at [Genworth Financial](/org/genworth-financial) in December 2000 as the Assistant Vice President - Tax Controller. In this role, they led a team of over 29 associates to manage the organization's tax financial reporting and compliance. This included SEC, GAAP and statutory quarterly & annual filings, as well as federal & state income, premium, sales & use and personal property taxes. 

In July 2009, Steven joined [Nationwide](/org/nationwide) as the Vice President - Taxation. In this role, they were responsible for federal & state income tax compliance and related forecasting, business planning and financial reporting for life, property & casualty and non-insurance operations.

Stephen Scott is the current Managing Director and CFO at [Aflac](/org/aflac). Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer for [Aflac](/org/aflac) Global Investments from July 2019 to November 2021. Before that, they were with [BNY Mellon](/org/bny-mellon) for 18 years, where they served as Investment Management Global CFO from July 2001 to July 2019. In this role, they were responsible for optimizing financial performance and executing strategic decisions for a $4bn revenue segment of [BNY Mellon](/org/bny-mellon). Stephen also led a global team of 80 staff across Asset and Wealth Management businesses. In addition to their financial responsibilities, they also oversaw regulatory compliance (Volcker, Basel III, CCAR etc) and Treasury management for the Wealth Bank. Stephen partnered with the BK Executive team to establish financial targets and ensure execution against targets, achieving significant earnings and operating margin growth since 2016.

Teresa Q. McTague is the managing director and chief investment officer of global investments at [Aflac](/org/aflac). Teresa has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Teresa began their career in 1986 as a vice president of financial products at Alexander & Alexander. In 1991, they moved to Johnson & Higgins as a vice president of financial products. In 1993, Teresa joined General Re Corporation as vice president of financial products and treaty reinsurance. Teresa stayed with the company for five years before moving to General Re New England Asset Management in 1998. Teresa served as a portfolio manager and member of the parent risk committee at their previous company from 1998 until 2013.

Shinsuke Morimoto joined Aflac in 1988 and has served in a range of corporate management positions with responsibility for departments including the legal and corporate planning areas. In 2019, he was promoted to vice president and in 2021, to senior vice president where he was responsible for Aflac Japan’s corporate division. In 2023, he was named director and executive vice president, overseeing management strategy, human capital management, general affairs, subsidiary management, crisis management, customer services, and Agile promotion functions, among other areas.

Alex W. Stephanouk has over twenty years of experience in auditing and financial management. Alex is currently the Senior Vice President of Internal Audit at [Aflac](/org/aflac). Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director at KPMG LLP from 2002 to 2009. Alex has also held various positions at The Institute of Internal Auditors, Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation, and Arthur Andersen. Bradley Dyslin is the current Senior MD and Global Head of Credit for Global Investments at [Aflac](/org/aflac). Dyslin has been with [Aflac](/org/aflac) since 2012, when they left their previous company Hartford Investment Management. Bradley was with Deutsche Asset Management from 2002 to 2007, where they were the Director. Bradley Dyslin began their professional career in 1991 as a Private Placement analyst for Principal Financial Group. 

Dyslin has been in the investment business for over two decades. Bradley has experience as an analyst, portfolio manager, and director. Their expertise lies in credit and investments. Bradley has managed international affiliates and developed investment operations. Bradley Dyslin is a well-respected figure in the industry and is known for their keen understanding of the markets.

Nadeem G. Khan 

Mr. Mori is representative director of the Japan Financial and Economic Research Co. Ltd., a research and consulting firm. In this role, he has been responsible for providing research and consulting services to companies in Japan and abroad since July 2018. He is currently also an adjunct professor and senior research scholar at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (since October 2018). From July 2015 until his retirement in July 2018, Mr. Mori served as commissioner of the Financial Services Agency of Japan (the “JFSA”), Japan’s integrated financial regulator. In this role, he led supervision of financial institutions including banks, securities firms and insurance companies, and directed legislative and regulatory planning to ensure financial stability and enhance economic growth in Japan. Before becoming the head of [JFSA](/org/jewish-family-service-association-of-cleveland), he spent more than 30 years in senior positions at [JFSA](/org/jewish-family-service-association-of-cleveland) and Japan’s [Ministry of Finance](/org/ministry-of-finance) (the “MOF”), including [JFSA](/org/jewish-family-service-association-of-cleveland) Vice Commissioner for Policy Coordination, Director General for Inspection, and Director General for Supervision (July 2014 to July 2015). He also served in a range of diplomatic posts reflecting his expertise in international financial markets and regulatory standards, including as the Chief Representative in New York for the MOF, Minister of the Embassy of Japan in the United States of America, and as Deputy Treasurer at the [Inter-American Development Bank](/org/inter-american-development-bank).

Over a three-plus decade career immersed in Japan’s finance industry as a financial regulator, policymaker, and standard setter in Japan and internationally, Mr. Mori gained extensive specialized economic, policy, and financial regulatory expertise, knowledge and experience. He brings to the Board indispensable, significant insight with respect to the Company’s Japanese business operations from his considerable financial and economic knowledge, international business experience, and regulatory acumen spanning highly regulated industries in Japan and internationally.

Nobuchika Mori

Tipton was promoted to SVP in January 2020. He is responsible for leading the fully aligned direct-to-consumer business market to execute on [Aflac](/org/aflac)'s U.S. growth strategy. He is also responsible for driving sales and leading all of the financial, marketing and operational aspects of the direct-to-consumer business, including oversight of partnership programs, digital expansion and driving profitable growth. 

Tipton joined [Aflac](/org/aflac)'s marketing team in 2011 as second vice president, where he was responsible for developing sales tools and innovative marketing strategies to drive broker sales among large employers. He was promoted to vice president in 2014, where he led the strategy to develop Everwell, [Aflac](/org/aflac)'s web-based enrollment platform for small businesses. 

Prior to joining [Aflac](/org/aflac), he served as director of marketing and communications, and later, as assistant vice president of marketing and communications for Allstate Insurance Company. Prior to that, he served as vice president of sales and marketing at NetLook Inc. Tipton holds a bachelor's degree in communications and media studies from the University of Oklahoma.

Jeramy D. Tipton

Tim Callahan joined [Aflac](/org/aflac) in 2014, bringing more than 30 years of experience in information and physical security, business resiliency and risk management. He was promoted to his current role in January 2016, where he is responsible for directing [Aflac](/org/aflac)’s global security strategy and leading the information security, business continuity and disaster recovery functions across the company to prioritize security initiatives and allocate resources based on appropriate risk assessments.

Hennessy was promoted to SVP in January 2020. He is responsible for leading the planning, development and implementation of Aflac U.S. Pre-Sales Operations and driving the culture, strategy and operational plans for Aflac Group operations. 

Hennessy joined Continental American Life Insurance (now Aflac Group) in 1996, and for more than 20 years has helped guide the Aflac Group teams through tremendous growth in a variety of leadership roles in areas including asset management, compliance, operations and distribution. He has been recognized for his insightful review of existing operations, streamlining and improving processes and increasing operational efficiencies and performance. He was promoted to vice president in 2013, most recently serving as vice president of Strategic Asset Management, focused on group account retention. 

Hennessy holds a bachelor's degree in political science and criminal justice from [Canisius College](/org/canisius-college) and previously served in the [United States Army](/org/united-states-army). He has also served on the board of the Association of South Carolina Life Insurance Companies (ASLIC) and the board of Palmetto Children's Hospital, where he continues to serve in a voluntary capacity. He recently served on the board of the [Prisma Health](/org/prisma-health-midlands) Children's Cancer Center and currently serves on the board for the March of Dimes ELT.

Crawford joined [Aflac](/org/aflac) in 2015 as executive vice president and chief financial officer, bringing 20 years of industry leadership experience to [Aflac](/org/aflac), including his role as chief financial officer of CNO Financial Group, and prior to that, he spent more than a decade at the [Lincoln Financial Group](/org/lincoln-financial-group) serving in roles of progressive responsibility including chief financial officer. Koichiro Yoshizumi joined [Aflac](/org/aflac) in January 2021 as executive vice president in the Sales and Marketing area. He assumed the role of [Aflac](/org/aflac) Japan deputy president in July 2021.

Brodén joined [Aflac](/org/aflac) in 2017 as senior vice president and treasurer, bringing more than 15 years of experience and leadership managing global financial and insurance portfolios. Earlier this year, he was promoted to senior vice president; deputy chief financial officer and treasurer of [Aflac](/org/aflac) Incorporated. Before joining [Aflac](/org/aflac), Brodén served as senior portfolio manager at Norges Bank, managing an equity portfolio of global financial and insurance stocks. Brodén received his Master of Science degree with majors in both Accounting and Finance from the [Stockholm School of Economics](/org/stockholm-school-of-economics). He is a CFA charterholder.
