Brice Montfraix

Brice Montfraix is a seasoned policy expert with extensive experience in sustainable management and monitoring of natural resources, currently serving at the African Union since February 2017. Previously, Brice held various key roles including Team Leader for the GMES & Africa Programme, where leadership was provided during its first phase, and served as a climate change adaptation expert leading international technical assistance teams at Egis. Additionally, Brice contributed to multiple projects focused on climate resilience and feasibility studies in different contexts, including working with AETS and SAFEGE. With an academic background in tropical agriculture and extensive expertise in project management and evaluation, including notable contributions to the European Commission and various international projects, Brice demonstrates a strong commitment to climate adaptation and resource sustainability initiatives across Africa.
