Geert Premereur

Geert Premereur is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in software architecture and development. Currently serving as a Scala Developer at Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer since May 2017, Geert has also been the owner of ICTects, a freelance IT consultancy focused on Java and large systems, since May 2007. Previous roles include R&D Engineer at Sony Techsoft Centre, where Geert worked on sustainable initiatives and cloud-based telemetry, as well as Applications Architect at bpost and Application Architect at Kind & Gezin. Geert's extensive career also features positions at Toyota, Inno.com, and Universiteit Gent, along with an MSc in Computer Science from Ghent University obtained in 1994.
