Tom Redfern

Tom Redfern is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in environmental management and strategic sustainability. Currently serving as a Senior Sustainability Specialist and Interim Sustainability Director at Aggregate Industries UK since December 2021, Tom has previously held the position of Head of Sustainability at Birmingham Airport from July 2013 to December 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing sustainability strategies related to aircraft noise, waste management, air and water quality, and energy efficiency. Tom also gained early experience as an Environmental Specialist focused on noise management and project management. Prior to Birmingham Airport, Tom worked as a QUENSH Assistant at Integrated Water Services from November 2011 to July 2013. Tom holds a Geography BSc from Liverpool John Moores University, earned between 2008 and 2011.
