Tanya Kent

Tanya Kent has extensive legal experience, currently serving as the Associate General Counsel and Head of Subsidiary Corporate Governance for the Americas at AIG since May 2008, where responsibilities include oversight and support for corporate governance in the U.S. Prior to AIG, Tanya worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from October 2005 to April 2008 as an Associate, focusing on capital markets, including drafting purchase agreements for securities offerings and advising on initial public offerings. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York University School of Law and an A.B. in Women's Studies and History from Brown University. Tanya's formative education includes Groton School and Erie Day School.
