Omar Rehman is a seasoned professional in internal audit with extensive experience across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Chief Internal Auditor at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since July 2024, Omar previously held significant roles at ATB Financial, including SVP Internal Audit and General Manager of Operational Audit. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Internal Audit at Neteller and Manager of Internal Audit at Barclays Capital. Omar began the career at Arthur Andersen in a senior position and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Alberta, completed between 1992 and 1996. Additionally, Omar is a Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
