Umega Seneviratne

Umega Seneviratne currently serves as Assistant Vice President - Technical at AIP Capital, an aviation asset manager, since June 2023, after holding the position of Technical Contracts Manager with the same company. Prior to this role, Umega worked at SriLankan Airlines from May 2017 to June 2023 in various capacities, including Engineering Contracts Manager and Technical Assets and Lease Contracts Manager, overseeing engineering service contracts and aircraft lease management. Umega's earlier experience includes over a decade at the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka, where responsibilities included serving as Principal Inspector for major airlines and leading audit teams for airworthiness assessments. Umega holds degrees from Brunel University of London and Kingston University, as well as a legal qualification from Sri Lanka Law College.
