Lisa Haapaniemi

Lisa Haapaniemi is an experienced operations and public funding professional currently serving as Operations Coordinator & Senior Public Funding Manager at Foodpairing® since February 2021. In this role, Lisa supports and enhances internal operations while managing public funding initiatives, transitioning new project and data management tools, and providing cross-team support. Previously, Lisa held the position of Associate Public Funding Manager at Foodpairing®, where responsibilities included grant writing, stakeholder management, and project coordination. Prior experience includes a Senior role at EY in European Commission Framework Contracts Management, an International Research Analyst position at NewFrontierServices, and as a Research Assistant at Europe Analytica. Lisa holds an Advanced Master’s degree in European Integration & Development from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, a Master’s degree in European Studies from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University.
