Logan Velaitham is AirAsia Singapore CEO and AirAsia Philippines Chief Executive Advisor.

As Singapore CEO, he is responsible for the smooth running of AirAsia's third-busiest hub, which sees 40 flights daily operated by four AirAsia airlines in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.

As AirAsia Philippines Chief Executive Advisor, he is tasked, among other things, with providing professional advice to the CEO to plan, lead, organize and manage the strategic direction and operations of the company to find growth opportunities in the immediate term and drive overall profitability over the long term.

Logan has had over 25 years of experience in the airline industry. He started his career as cabin crew for Singapore Airlines from 1992 to 2004. It was during this time that he was exposed to inflight operational experience serving premium guests and trained to pay attention to details and provide excellent customer service.

He joined AirAsia as Singapore station manager for AirAsia Thailand in 2004, where he set up the station, before joining AirAsia Malaysia as the Senior Manager for Ground Operations. In 2008, he was promoted to Regional Head for Customer Experience from 2008 to 2012, where he led guest services, ramp services, guest support, call centre and cabin crew departments.

Logan also supplied expertise in the launching of long-haul low-cost carrier AirAsia X Malaysia in 2007 and AirAsia X Indonesia in 2014, as well as the launching of AirAsia Philippines and AirAsia Japan. In 2014 to 2015, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer for AirAsia X Indonesia for startup planning before taking an extended role as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for Caterhemjet Singapore.
