AirAsia is a leading low-cost airline that primarily operates in the Asia-Pacific region. They started out as Fly Asian Express in 2006 by serving rural areas of Sarawak and Sabah with turboprop aircrafts before rebranding to AirAsia in 2007.

While they mainly operate out of the Kuala Lumpur airport, AirAsia services 26 destinations in Singapore, Bali, Sapporo, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Seoul, Busan, and many others across Asia and the US. Their core fleet consists of the 39 Airbus A330. They are passionate about their business model having the lowest unit cost base of any long-haul airline in the world.
