Oliver Valente

Oliver Valente has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Oliver is currently the CEO of Airtower Networks, a position they have held since December 2019. Prior to that, Oliver worked at ExteNet Systems, Inc. for a decade, starting in May 2008 and serving as the EVP-Chief Operating Officer. During their time at ExteNet Systems, Oliver was responsible for various aspects of operations, including sales support, network planning, RF engineering, network operations, network engineering, construction management, and supply chain management. Oliver was also involved in business development and site acquisition.

Before joining ExteNet Systems, Oliver held multiple roles at Sprint, starting in 1995. Oliver served as the VP - Engineering & Operations, overseeing the initial buildout of Sprint's infrastructure in the Western United States. Oliver managed the design, construction, and operation of thousands of tower and rooftop cell sites. Oliver also held positions as the SVP - Product Management & Development, CTO, and VP - Technology Development at Sprint.

Oliver's career in the telecommunications industry began at Centel Cellular in 1991, where they held engineering roles. Oliver later worked at Sprint Cellular as the Director - Wireless Technology Development.

With their extensive experience and expertise in the telecommunications field, Oliver Valente has played a significant role in the growth and development of various companies within the industry.

Oliver Valente completed their Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Radio communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1987 and 1991. After that, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management, which they completed from 1993 to 1996.
