Wayne Thomas

Wayne Thomas has extensive experience in aerodrome control, currently serving as an Auckland Tower Controller at Airways New Zealand since February 2015, managing aircraft operations in the controlled airspace. Previously, Wayne worked as an ATCO at Serco from January 2012 to January 2015, where involvement in projects included the Tower Integrated Work Position and enhancements to GMR and MLAT systems. Earlier experience at Airways New Zealand from March 2008 to January 2012 included providing aerodrome control at Auckland Airport. Wayne Thomas completed education at Papakura High School.
