Gil Gerassi

Gil Gerassi has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and Configuration Management. Gil most recently worked as the Head of Platform at Akeyless Security since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of DevOps at WalkMe™ from January 2022 to May 2023. Gil also held the position of Director of DevOps at Aurora Labs from July 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they worked at Global Payments Inc. as the Director of DevOps from February 2018 to June 2021. Gil's early career includes significant roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they served as a Senior DevOps Team Lead from August 2012 to February 2018 and as an SCM and Release Engineer from August 2005 to August 2012. Prior to that, they were the Configuration Manager and Team Lead at Comverse from May 1999 to August 2005. Gil possesses extensive expertise in configuration management, IT infrastructure, technical project management, and release engineering.

Gil Gerassi earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Mercy College, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the American Public University System, completing the program from 2011 to 2014.
