Cambria Alpha-Cobb

Cambria Alpha-Cobb serves as the Head of Legal and IP at Akouos since March 2021, following a role as Patent Counsel at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from January to March 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Patent Attorney and Senior Patent Agent at Momenta Pharmaceuticals and a Patent Agent at Fish & Richardson P.C. Cambria began a career in patent law after working as a Technology Specialist at both Fish & Richardson and Dilworth IP. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, alongside a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. This educational background is complemented by undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology and Hispanic Studies from Rice University, as well as studies in biochemistry, genetics, and languages at Jacobs University Bremen and Universidad de Salamanca.
