Sean Chinner

Sean Chinner is a seasoned professional in the coatings industry, currently serving as the Regional Technical Service Manager for TS Marine & Protective MEA at AkzoNobel since November 2021. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Redec Services (Pty) Ltd from May 2017 to October 2021, project management and senior coating inspection at Genwest from June 2013 to May 2017, and third-party coatings inspection at Bureau Veritas from August 2012 to May 2013. Earlier in the career, Sean held a contractor quality control position at Foster Wheeler from 2006 to 2010. Sean holds a Matric degree from Sand du Plessis High School and further qualifications from IRCA and Nace.
