Ahmed Fawzi Elashy

Ahmed Fawzi Elashy has extensive experience in the IT sector, currently serving as the Head of Systems Infrastructure at Al Jazeera Media Network since January 2002. In this role, Ahmed manages a team of skilled IT professionals, leads the architecture and design of on-premises and cloud solutions, and oversees system operations and project management. Previously, Ahmed held positions as Team Lead for Enterprise and Media Systems, Principal System Engineer, Senior System Engineer, and Technical Support Engineer within Al Jazeera. Prior to this, Ahmed worked as a Web Administrator at Mohamed Tariq Co. in 2001. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Computer Science from Brock University.
