Wayne Prender

Wayne Prender currently serves as Vice President of the Defense Segment at Albany International Corp. since September 2025. Prior to this role, Wayne held the position of Global Head of Defence at Advanced Navigation from August 2024 to September 2025. Wayne's extensive experience at Textron Systems spans over a decade, with roles including Sr. Vice President of Air Systems, Sr. Vice President of Applied Technologies & Advanced Programs, and Vice President of Control & Surface Systems. Wayne also managed the development and support of the Aerosonde Small UAS product line as Program Director at AAI Corporation from 2012 to 2014, following an earlier role at AAI Corporation as Project Engineer and Systems Engineer on various UAS platforms. Wayne's military experience includes serving as Captain in the US Army from 2002 to 2006. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Louis University and both an MBA and a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
