Ryan Derish

Ryan Derish, M.Sc. is a Data Management Analyst at the Alberta Energy Regulator since October 2022, focusing on developing data management and governance processes. Previously, Ryan worked at Katalyst Data Management for four years in various roles, including Software Quality Assurance Analyst, where best practices for quality assurance were encouraged and robust test cases were designed. Ryan also served as a Geophysical Data Indexer, successfully leading a pilot project that secured a new client. Additionally, Ryan contributed as a Geophysicist at the University of Calgary, characterizing the lower Montney formation. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Geology & Geophysics and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics, with ongoing studies at Stanford University.
