Chelsea Heide

Chelsea Heide has over a decade of experience in mental health and addiction counseling, currently serving as an Addiction and Mental Health Counsellor at Alberta Health Services since April 2012. Chelsea has expertise in providing intake services, crisis intervention, and therapy for children aged 8-16 with various mental health issues. Previous roles include Mental Health Therapy Assistant and Child Life Specialist, where Chelsea facilitated therapeutic groups and recreational therapy programs. Chelsea's background also includes positions as a Special Education Assistant with the Calgary Board of Education and Team Lead at Wood's Homes, showcasing a strong commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration and community engagement. Chelsea holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University and degrees in Community Rehabilitation and Early Childhood Education.
