Martin Chayer

Martin Chayer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project development and asset management, currently serving as Project Development Director at Alcoa since February 2014. In previous roles at Alcoa, Martin held positions such as Asset Management Hub Manager for North America, Capital Management Director, and Value Improvement Lead, focusing on capital efficiency and cost reduction strategies. Prior experience includes serving as Reliability Manager at Maaden Aluminium Company, where responsibilities included establishing the maintenance department and defining recruitment plans, and a series of roles at Alcoa from 1996 to 2010, culminated by managing maintenance and engineering departments for large smelters.
