Emergency communication and threat intelligence company AlertMedia has appointed Kara Hamilton to its board of directors. Ms. Hamilton is the Chief People and Culture Officer at software company Smartsheet, and will support AlertMedia’s leadership team in its growth initiatives.

Ms. Hamilton has more than 22 years of finance and HR experience, including nearly nine years at Smartsheet. She has also held leadership positions at BlueView Technologies, GoAhead Software, Vigilos, Inc., and TeleCommunication Systems, Inc..
