Eleni Reed

Eleni Reed is an accomplished professional in sustainability and urban planning, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Sustainability at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. since January 2021. Prior to this role, Eleni Reed held significant positions such as Head of Sustainability for the Americas at Lendlease and Chief Greening Officer at the Public Buildings Service/General Services Administration. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Sustainability Strategies at Cushman & Wakefield and Senior Project Manager at the City of New York's Mayor's Office of Operations. Eleni Reed began a career in planning as a Senior Planner at STV. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Urban Planning from McGill University, a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning, and a minor in German from Université de Montréal. Eleni Reed is also recognized as a Professional Planner (PP), Certified Planner (AICP), and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
