Shannon McBride

Shannon McBride is an accomplished scientist currently serving as Associate Scientist III at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., focusing on bioanalytical and biomarker outsourcing management and process improvement. Previously, Shannon held the position of Associate Scientist at Arvinas, where collaboration on translational biomarkers for PROTACs in neurologic disorders and lead optimization played key roles. As a Senior Research Associate at Abcam, Shannon contributed to R&D projects utilizing advanced techniques such as phage display technology. Early career experiences at Central Connecticut State University included mentoring students in scientific activities, conducting graduate research on bacteriophage typing, and working in the university library, enhancing technical and problem-solving skills. Shannon earned a Master’s Degree in Biomolecular Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Central Connecticut State University.
