Haakon Overli

Haakon Overli is a General Partner at Dawn Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm focusing on fintech and SaaS startups across Europe, a position held since July 2006. Overli has served on the boards of numerous companies, including Algorithmiq and Minute Media, and previously held board positions at Templafy, LeadDesk, Sticky Inc, FirstCare Absence Management, and Active Health Partners. As the co-founder and CEO of Selftrade UK, Overli played a significant role in establishing one of the largest European online stock brokers, culminating in a $1.1 billion exit. Overli's earlier career included a tenure as Head of Technology Investment Banking at ING Barings. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Durham University and studies at the University of Oslo and UWC Atlantic College.
