Zahra Baitie-Boateng

Zahra Baitie-Boateng is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in promoting African entrepreneurship and strengthening Africa-China relations. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Africa's Business Heroes Prize Competition at Alibaba Group, Zahra has played a pivotal role in establishing its first office in Kigali, Rwanda. Previously, as Co-Founder and CEO of Kente & Silk, Zahra launched Beijing's first Africa Week and organized various events to enhance understanding of Africa in China. Other notable roles include China Director at Development Reimagined and Analyst at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, with a focus on agricultural development in Ethiopia. Zahra's academic background includes a Master's in Global Affairs from Schwarzman Scholars and a Bachelor's degree in Global Affairs from Yale University.
