Alida names Hermina Khara as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion leader

Alida names Hermina Khara as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion leader, Alida

Customer Experience Management company Alida has appointed Hermina Khara to the role of Senior Vice President of People and Culture. In her role, Ms. Khara will be responsible for the company’s Corporate Culture and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. She will also sit on Alida’s DE&I Council, which works to establish initiatives, programs and benchmarks goals that drive staff awareness and learning.

“Hermina has shown tremendous leadership in helping us chart our path to become an award-winning culture that consistently celebrates our values and our people,” said Alida CEO Ross Wainwright. “There is no longer room for companies to operate without formalizing corporate culture and DE&I as organizational responsibilities within a business. Hermina will be instrumental in guiding Alida through the efforts and goals we have as a company to affect positive change.”

Ms. Khara has more than 18 years of experience in strategic talent acquisition and human resources. She has been with Alida since 2013, most recently as VP, People and Talent, and has also held senior HR positions with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, 7-Eleven and STRIVE Recruitment.

“I’ve always believed that no matter what role we are in or what level we are at, we all want to make a difference, create a positive impact and feel valued for what we do. Edmonton office to create more than 100 tech jobs in fast-growing Alberta market TORONTO — May 10, 2022 — Alida, a leader in Total Experience Management (TXM) software, today announced it will be opening a new Edmonton, Alberta office in June 2022, with plans to hire over 100 employees by 2025. This expansion comes as Alida looks to further push growth momentum in North America. “Canada is an untapped resource within the North American tech market and will be integral to the future of this industry,” said Ross Wainwright, CEO at Alida. “Edmonton is a fantastic city with a fast-growing population and an equally booming tech industry — perfect for establishing and growing longterm roots. In addition to the new Edmonton office, Alida’s 2022 growth plans have a global focus. The company recently announced a new Data Centre launching in Sydney, Australia this summer to support its customers in the Oceania region.
