Elmar Kades

Elmar has more than 27 years of international experience in performance improvement and operational restructuring, covering such industries as automotive, assembly, and heavy equipment. Elmar co-leads the global automotive and industrial practice at AlixPartners. Before AlixPartners, Elmar was with automotive supplier Knorr-Bremse as Chief Procurement Officer for the company's truck group and then Chief Operating Officer of the company's Hong Kong truck division. He studied chemistry at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg and holds a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Zurich.
