Christopher McKosato

Christopher McKosato currently serves as a Senior Tribal Liaison at the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy since January 2025. Previous experience includes roles such as Coordinator of Transitional Housing and Legal Advocate at the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma from March 2022 to January 2025 and a Field Deputy at Payne County Sheriff from July 2012 to January 2023. Christopher has specialized training as a De-Escalation Instructor and Tactical Tracking Instructor. Additional experience includes serving as a Tribal Police Officer from 2005 to 2012 and a Wild Land Firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service from March 2002 to March 2012. Christopher also contributed as a volunteer firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician for the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma from 2003 to 2013. Education includes training from Oklahoma State University, the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET), the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), and certification in Domestic Violence Investigations through the CDSVRP program.
