Reshan Cooray serves as the General Manager at the Alliance of Schools for Cooperative Insurance Programs (ASCIP) since June 2012, overseeing various roles including Executive Director of Property & Liability Programs and Sr. Director of Property & Casualty Programs. Responsibilities include managing the ASCIP Risk Services Program, providing consulting services on loss control, risk management, and insurance for member districts. Prior experience includes serving as City Safety Officer for the City of Long Beach from February 2006 to June 2009, where Reshan administered a citywide Injury and Illness Prevention Program and developed safety initiatives in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Reshan holds a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Environmental and Occupational Health from Loma Linda University.
