Karen Rivara

Karen Rivara serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary at Astrus Insurance Solutions, LLC, and also holds the position of Executive Vice President at Alliant Insurance Services, both since September 2015. Prior to these roles, Karen Rivara was the Senior Vice President and Actuary at Old Republic Construction Program Group from November 2006 to September 2015, and spent over a decade at Aon Corporation as Vice President and Actuary, VSC, from June 1994 to November 2006. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Actuarial Analyst at The Hartford from June 1990 to June 1994. Karen Rivara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing studies in 1990.
