Aurel Badea

Aurel Badea is an experienced executive in the insurance industry with a comprehensive background in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Gothaer Asigurari Reasigurari since January 2022, Aurel has also held the position of Deputy CEO at Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari since March 2019 and has been the Chief Technical Officer with a focus on Non-Life underwriting at Allianz Tiriac Asigurari since 2002. Aurel's career began with an analytical role at the Ministry of Industry from 1992 to 1993. Academically, Aurel holds an MBA in Economics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) obtained in 2008 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Bucharest, completed in 1991.
