Win Harrington

Win Harrington has over 20 years of experience in software development and engineering. Win has worked for various companies, including Allied Associates International, ManTech, Tridea Works LLC, Dark Wolf Solutions, ManTech International Corporation, BAE Systems Information Technology, Quaso, EtherSpeak Inc., and BAE Systems.

In their most recent role at Allied Associates International, Win worked as a Software Developer, developing cyber and networking software for a government contract. Prior to that, at ManTech, they were a Principal Software Engineer, where they focused on cyber ETL and parsing big data text with Python.

At Tridea Works LLC, Win served as a Software Developer, working on software maintenance for various tools, including projects involving Riot.js, Nginx, PHP, and Postgres. Win also worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Dark Wolf Solutions, where they developed a system to automate and speed up the process of typing in a list of commands for securing government sites.

At ManTech International Corporation, Win combined three open-source software products to create WinCloud, a self-hosted GoogleDrive clone for secret data. Before that, Win worked at BAE Systems for 15 years, working on classified projects and holding a Top Secret clearance. Win also briefly worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Strayer University, teaching the Introduction to Java class.

Win Harrington earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Math/Science from Washington and Lee University between 1975 and 1979. Following this, from 1981 to 1983, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, in February 2017, Win obtained certifications in Security+ from CompTIA and as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance.
