Brent Baker

Brent Baker is a seasoned professional in procurement and operations management, currently serving as a Commodity Buyer at Allison Transmission since October 2025. Prior to this role, Brent worked at ProTrans for nearly 15 years, holding multiple positions including Operations Manager for both Procurement and Expedites and Unplanned, as well as Operations Supervisor, Load Planner, and Route Manager. Brent began the professional career at Schilli Transportation Services, Inc., where responsibilities included Load Planner and Outsource Representative. Educationally, Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Distribution Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, attended from 1996 to 1999, and previously studied at Wabash College from 1995 to 1996.
