Farsad Forghani

Farsad Forghani is a highly experienced metallurgist with a focus on alloy development and failure analysis. Currently serving as a Technical Fellow and Metallurgy Lead at Alloyed since March 2021, Farsad has also worked as a Computational Alloy Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a BCAST Research Fellowship at Brunel University London, specializing in high-performance aluminium alloys for automotive applications, and multiple roles at Niroo Research Institute, where Farsad conducted degradation analysis and failure assessments of gas turbine components. Farsad's academic background includes a PhD in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from the University of Tehran, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in related fields. Notable research includes advanced characterization techniques and alloy modeling efforts addressing microstructural changes and material performance under extreme conditions.
