Chief Executive Officer at Allscripts

Rick is the Chief Executive Officer of Allscripts. As CEO, Rick leads the company’s vision to deliver its obligation to build Open, Connected Communities of Health. For Everyone. Previously, Rick was managing day-to-day operations of all business units as President. He initially joined Allscripts in 2012 as chief financial officer to oversee the company’s financial operations, business development and strategy.

Rick served as the chief financial officer and treasurer for AAR Corp. after joining the company in 2006 as vice president of acquisitions and strategic investment. He spent more than ten years at UAL Corporation in progressively more senior financial and business development roles, including senior vice president of business development as well as president and CFO of the company's loyalty services subsidiary. He also served as vice president of finance for online retailer Ourhouse.com. Rick began his career in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen & Co., LLP, where he held multiple increasingly responsible positions.

Rick has served on the board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, with honors, from Marquette University and a Master of Business Administration, with concentrations in strategy and finance, from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
